At the start line…

I have arrived at Winchester and the reality of what I’m doing physically is starting to sink in. I thought I had packed light but my back is telling me I haven’t and I’ve only walked about 5 miles with it! It will be a real challenge as tomorrow is the longest day at about 16 miles. So many brothers and sisters round the world have to carry huge burdens each day though…

Grateful to God that it looks a good week weather wise.

Winchester is a beautiful place (my first visit). Picked up my Pilgrims Way passport (you get stamped in churches along the way). So basically all ready to go starting with an early morning blessing in the cathedral tomorrow.
